# Delete SAML application secret

**DELETE /api/saml-applications/{id}/secrets/{secretId}**

Delete a signing certificate of the SAML application. Active certificates cannot be deleted.

### Path parameters
- **id** (string)
  The unique identifier of the saml application.
- **secretId** (string)
  The unique identifier of the secret.

### 204
The signing certificate was deleted successfully.

### 400
Cannot delete an active certificate.

### 401
Unauthorized

### 403
Forbidden

### 404
The SAML application or certificate was not found.
